I live in SE Wisc. and listen to Chicago AM on Sangean ATS-909. On some stations,I get 1/2 bar signal strength without the Kaito ant.When I plug it in and turn it on, I get full signal strength.I haven't tried SW yet but will just to see how it works and some night time AM dxing. This item works very good. CONS: it only runs on batteries. It has two states; ON or CHARGING....
