A hit and a miss
I purchased this system to be used for a classroom-style workshop. Upon delivery I took all the pieces out of their packaging to be tested; happily, everything seemed to work just fine (certainly not recording quality but plenty good enough for a workshop). The problems began at the event itself. The speaker was reliable and worked well, just like it was supposed to with no complications. Works Wonderful for the Church
We bought this as the Church that my husband is Associate Pastor at (he only speaks once a month) didn't have a PA system and he speaks quitely. We bought it and now everyone can hear him clearly. Our daughter borrowed it for a softball team raffle also and thought it was GREAT!

Great for outdoor wedding reception
I was a little worried this wouldn't be powerful enough for our outdoor tented wedding reception (100 people), but it worked really well. Could also be used as an amp for a guitar or keyboard.
