Versatile, easy-to-use, multi-purpose system
We use the Messenger system in our church for a variety of situations and it handles them all remarkably well. For example, it serves as a portable PA system when we need to address gatherings indoors or out. As another example, we use it as the sound system for VHS/CD/DVD players at medium to large gatherings.
Amazing little unit
I have had the Peavey Escort for about a year and have been very happy with it. However, I wanted something smaller and quicker to set up and I found the Messenger. This unit is very compact and has high performance for the price. The great thing is that the controls are very similar to the Excort so it is easy to train others to use it. Does what it's supposed to do
The Peavey 100-Watt Messenger is a fine and reliable compact sound system. It performs very well in a moderate size room. I use it mostly for leading music with plugged guitar and mic. This is what it's made for and it delivers. I would highly recommend it.
