For Just The Right Shot
The only thing that I was disappointed with, is that 1.7x really isn't that much of an enhancement. I should have done the math. If you are standing 100 feet away from something, a 1.7 zoom factor will make it seem as if you are standing about 60 feet away (58.82 feet to be more precise). That's only about 40 feet closer.
Quality!
The photo and video quality of the HDR-SR11 are phenominal to begin with, adding this lens only improves your veiw.
