This is another camcorder that records directly to DVD instead of to tape. One of the nicest aspects of DVD-RAM is that it can be added to and/or recorded over even though it costs a lot more than other types of DVD. However, it can't be played on many consumer DVD players, but it does has a long shelf life of over 30 years
