Great Camera !!!
I've owned this camera for some time now and have found it to be an outstanding camera in every way. I have not written a review on it until now. Yesterday I fell into a stream in the Great Smokey Mountains while filming grandchildren. Need I say I thought it was "history" for the camera. To make a long story short, in between a few emails to Canon's very good custmer support, I found a way to return the camera for possible repair when I returned home. I choose this product because I owned one but not hi-def. yet and was stollen but i still have some accessories of canon brand.What can I say with this was owesome simlpy magnificent bright colors that you can see through the LCD screen even in a bright day light.

Good Camera, if you don't mind tapes
The HV10 produces some great video. Fits my hand well and is easy to use. It uses the older DV tapes, but still has great video quality.
