Wrong battery but satisfactory replacement BuyAccessories nice customer service I bought this kit almost 2 month ago from BuyAccessories and the intention was to get a second battery as a backup. The case was the Sony brand however the battery wasn't. I didn't pay attention then but found the battery didn't even work later. I contacted the BuyAccessories and got prompt response. They acknowledged that they might make a mistake and let me exchange for the real Sony brand battery even 2 month after the puschase. NOT Sony Products but FULL Refund Neither of the items I received were Sony products although they are described as such (even with the Sony part numbers). This must explain why it is ~$20 cheaper than if you buy the real thing.

The battery I received was not marked Sony. It was labeled with a part number for an equivalent battery from another manufacturer (BP-BG1, Mfg: Digital Concepts). The battery was loosely packed (with no case of its own) in the "leather" case.

Sony Leather Camera Case + Battery kit The camera is a Sony DSC-W80
Well done leather case, neat stitching, nicely lined, velcro closure is substantial enough to deter pickpockets. It is a stiff case that protects the camera well. If you do not need protection from falls, bumps. stepping on it, then you should get a thin leather case such as comes standard with Canon for example. It suits my needs and I am happy with it.
The battery is the standard Sony L-ion identical to the one that came with the camera –Mickey Hickeyfrom Amazon.com
