Sharp Lens, very satisfied with results
I think everything has already been said in the other reviews. This lens is incredibly sharp, even at f/2.0. I've been pairing it with my Olympus E-520 and I am well satisfied with the combination
This lens is incredible for macro as well as portraits. A little footwork is required for portraits, depending on how tight you want the cropping on the portraits. I've been able to take great macro shots of butterflies and other little critters as well as flowers.

Multi-use sharp.
Very sharp. I don't really shoot macro so I use it more as a prime 100mm equivelant. Focuses speed is more than acceptable except in dim light. Nice Boken. Highly recommended.

Amazing, but beware of limitations
First off, even though I only gave it 4 stars, it is the best lens I have ever touched, and if I lost or broke it today, well, I'd buy another one immediately. Many people describe this lens as "optically flawless" I am no expert on lenses, but I believe them. I have this and the two kit lenses with my e510. Forget the fact that this has awesome close focusing for a second here, take a picture of anything with either of the kit lenses at around 50 mm, now take that same picture with this lens...
