Tamaron for Sony 5-15-09
I had some questions about this lens in the Sony Mount so I contacted Tamaron and they told me they have not released the Sony mount Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens for Sony Digital SLR Cameras yet. And that these available on Amazon are Grey Market lenses Hence the Focusing issues just thougt I would give you the Heads up I will wait for the real Genuine ones to come out..
Simply beautiful
I have been eyeing this one, comparing to Sigma and Canon, and ended up with Tamron. I own Tamron and know their lenses are good, best deal for the money. Sorry to hear about bad experience from the select few, but Tamron has never let me down, it's pretty sharp, fast, great for most mid-level users, where I see myself. Pro will go for the camera brand, while there is really no need to pay such a mark-up. There is a sense of pride in Canon or Nikon sticker, but I don't fall for that. This i...

BAD Focusing issues.
So my first copy of this lens was complete TRASH! 100% NON USABLE. It had terrible front focusing issues to the point where the edges of every edge were glowing. I was shooting at 1/2000 2.8 - 5.6 and had the same results. I could not be MORE unhappy with this lens.| elapsed time: | 31.9ms |
