exelent pocket camera
Exactly what I wanted to supplement my SLR. Takes great pics if you take the time to learn to fineness it. Does alright as a point and shoot for dummies.

Wonderful little camera
This is a good choice if you want some power over the photo you are taking. The camera handles like a high end 35mm compact, and has a limited but substantial range of options. I was not that impressed with the "Intelligent" point-and-shoot function on the camera. I often use it on manual. Go with the 100 ISO setting and the pictures come out beautifully. Otherwise, pixel-level quality tends to be quite low. Then again, low-light shooting is a problem with practically every digital compact.

I can't say that I am even remotely familiar with all of the features of the camera but I brought it down to Southern Utah and gave it a good workout. The images came out very clear and were quite striking with the wide-angle shots. Therefore, I would give the camera very high marks for landscape photography.
