This digital camera, the 14.5 MP Nikon Coolpix S710 (graphite black), provides a 3.6x zoom lens and 4x digital zoom. It uses Secure Digital / Secure Digital High Capacity memory cards, and its CCD resolution is 4352 x 3264. This camera also takes movies with sound, and has a built-in microphone. The Nikon Coolpix S710 has a 3" LCD for viewing and taking photos, and you can manually adjust the shutter & aperture. Its fastest shutter speed is 1/1500 second, up to a maximum exposure time of 4 seconds, and you can shoot 1.4 frames/second continuously. It has a built-in internal flash as well as a self timer. Nikon S710
Best camera I have ever owned - its fast and the pictures are great,as is the wide angle lens. This camera was exactly what I have been looking for. Moving the flash away from the lens has reduced the red eye. Amazon seeems to always have the best prices, delivery etc. - they haven't failed me yet....

Dynamite! An amzaing piece of engineering and design
I am a pro photographer specializing in scenic imaging that is sold at the National Parks in the American Southwest. My products feature 360 degree VR photography in Flash and Quicktime. I often volunteer to take pictures of families and other groups of people at the Parks with their cameras so they can all be in a picture. So I have been handling these cool little point and shoot cameras, and I have seen the great pictures they take when my friends come back from trips and put on slide shows...

Great Camera
I know there may be more bulky cameras that claim better quality but I LOVE THIS CAMERA. It is perfect to carry in your purse all they time and never miss a picture moment. I have been able to document and create yearly albums of the special moments in our family and of every beautiful thing that I see that deserves to be captured, a beautiful sunset, the changing of the leaves..etc.
