"Broken" LCD I decided to buy this camera for my daughter because of the reasonable price. I thought that we would be luckier than the people who ran into the "Lens error", shutter malfunction, Broken LCD... problems, but it turns out that this camera is very fragile and I made a terrible decision (for buying it and also for buying the extended warranty).

I bought it new in Feb this year. In May, the shutter did not function (close half way, and did not open). I sent it to Nikon and they repair it fr... –TDfrom Amazon.com

Spend a little more on a Canon Bought this for around $80 on amazon, new. It is just that, an $80 camera. Has a hard time focusing and blurs a lot. I get an error message saying picture is blurry even when it is not. Small, compact, yes. Worth $80, maybe. Frustrating... –J. Jamesfrom Amazon.com
