The 7.2 MP Casio Exilim EX-V7 provides a 7x zoom lens and 4x digital zoom. It uses Secure Digital/Secure Digital High Capacity/Multimedia memory cards, and its CCD resolution is 3072 x 2304. This camera also takes movies with sound, and has a built-in microphone. The Casio Exilim EX-V7 has a 2.5" LCD screen (measured along the diagonal) on the back for composing pictures, and you can manually adjust the shutter & aperture. Its fastest shutter speed is 1/800 second, up to a maximum exposure time of 60 seconds, and you can shoot 3 frames/second continuously. It has a built-in internal flash plus a self timer. It also offers a USB port and a video out port. Bought two..both had same catastrophic defect
I loved the camera while it worked! The pictures were fab. The 7x optical zoom was incredible, the stereo audio recording of iron maiden and judas priest were second to none...wait, did I say priest?--I dropped the camera (2-4 feet) before the show started...I was in the front row with no camera and the "image stabilizer" no longer worked--I could not take any pictures...I sent it in for warranty/etc....it would cost $140 to fix. I should have purchased 200 disposable cameras instead....
Poor Video Quality, esp. under low light. Picture Okay
I didn't get to use the cameral fully because I bought a refurbished one. The scroll buttons didn't work. I took some pictures and videos with the limited feature. Picture quality was okay. Color didn't seem that vibrant. Not sure if I could adjust the setting. I couldn't because the scroll buttons weren't working. Video was horrible when taken under low like. Very grainy. I had to send it back, but lost $5.50 for shipping cost. Ended up buying a Canon Powershot SX110. Should have better video u...

Nice controls, good for a beginning photographer like me
