I was hesitant to purchase a camera that did not have automatic flash. I've come to like this feature too. Pictures are clear. There is no delay between photos. 08 Apr 2009Great camera, too fragile!I loved this camera, although it has been surpassed by newer models. The 10x optical zoom was great, the flip-up flash meant never blinding kids in the school play by accident (or on purpose!), it fits easily in a pocket so you don't have to decide whether to carry it somewhere, the software/menus are simple, and the picture and video quality is great.
Unfortunately, this camera broke on me twice (the second time after a repair for which I paid $100 - a testament to how much I like this ...–Silicon Valley Readerfrom Amazon.com
10 Feb 2009It loves the AA batteries! Thieves love this Canon.I had this camera for a couple of months and used it only a few times. It went through batteries so fast that I knew I couldn't take it on a trip and would have to purchase another camera. It takes nice photos but it's not a camera for travel. I paid $235 at BuyDig so I advertised it for $197 on Amazon Market Place. It sold immediately! I sent the camera to the buyer and after I sent it, he wanted to cancel and get his money back knowing it had to be sent within 2 days.. Fine I told him...–The Purple Beefrom Amazon.com
