The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 9 MP digital camera provides a 15x zoom lens and 2x digital zoom. It uses Memory Stick Duo Media/Memory Stick Pro Duo Media memory cards, and its CCD resolution is 3456 x 2592. This camera also takes movies with sound, and has a built-in microphone. The Cyber-shot DSC-H50 has a 3" diagonal LCD screen on the back, and you can manually adjust the shutter & aperture. Its fastest shutter speed is 1/4000 second, up to a maximum exposure time of 30 seconds, and you can shoot 1.6 frames/second continuously. It has a built-in internal flash as well as a self timer. I call it my "magic" camera...
I couldn't be more pleased with this camera. It takes absolutely beautiful pictures with very little effort on my part. I did a lot of research before buying, and I seriously could not have made a better choice! I've been using it for about a year now, and here are my observations...

I purchased this camera after returning a Canon SX100 IS, a Nikon L100, and a 10mp Sony that was so horrible I forgot the model number. I've read through many of the reviews on this site posted on this camera. Some "Cons" I've read are: *Requires a Sony memory stick (I purchased 4gig memory stick at Radio Shack and the amount of photos it stores seems endless even at full resolution). *The lens hood gets in the way (When I opened the box, the lens was packaged with the 2 piece hood turned bac...
