This digital camera, the 14.06 MP Sigma SD14 (body only), uses Sigma SA Bayonet Mount lenses. It uses CompactFlash Type I/II/Microdrive memory cards, and its CMOS resolution is 2652 x 1768. The Sigma SD14 has a 2.5" LCD screen (measured along the diagonal) on the back for composing pictures, and you can manually adjust the shutter & aperture. Its fastest shutter speed is 1/4000 second, up to a maximum exposure time of 30 seconds, and you can shoot 3 frames/second continuously. It has a built-in external flash as well as a self timer. amazing image quality
this is a complicated camera to operate and it takes an effort to maximize its abilities.
WOW, Impressive barely fits the bill
Impressive does not begin to contend for the image quality and color that this camera can produce. I know people who have digital slr ranging from nikon d40 and canon xt to the nikon d3 series and canon 1d series and have loved the quality some of these cameras can create. But when it comes to landscape and studio photography (mainly what I do) this can contend with anything from canon or nikon.
