The EOS 30D 8.2 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera (body only, black) is wonderful for an advanced intermediate. Perfect for shooting a lot of child and family portraits as well as high school sports. You will be amazed at the performance in low light settings.This camera features a 2.5inch LCD and uses CompactFlash Type I/II Card media. It has every feature you need - a great lens, a very user-friendly design, and excellent quality. This is the camera to take to your child's school play.The Canon EOS 30D (kit w/ 18-55mm lens) 8.2 MP digital camera uses Canon EF Mount lenses. It uses CompactFlash Type I/II memory cards, and its CCD resolution is 3504 x 2336. The Canon EOS 30D has a 2.5" LCD for viewing and taking photos, and you can manually adjust the shutter & aperture. Its fastest shutter speed is 1/8000 second, up to a maximum exposure time of 30 seconds, and you can shoot 5 frames/second continuously. It has a built-in internal flash plus a self timer.
