Ok, Metz products are not cheap. First off they are manufactured in Germany, not in China Like most photo equipment today.The above Metz slave Unit is a sturdy well made highly sensitive device.It is extremely sensitive to Xenon flash even outdoors at distance.I have coupled this with the Metz 36 C-2 flash and could not be happier.My Sony DSC-H50 does have a nice powerful onboard flash, but the built in unit has fleas.
