microsyncdigital hotshoe contact problems
I tested these units at a group shoot and had multiple problems with the unit inconsistently maintaining contact with the camera's hotshoe. I tried 3 different models of Canon bodies. Another photographer tried them on his Nikon bodies and had the same problem. The owner of the units said he has the same problem and used gaffer's tape to reduce the problem. Excellent for the price!
I bought these as an alternative to the pricier PocketWizard. This is a great little piece of hardware and works well in smaller studios. It is a bit limited in range and I have had a couple of missed shots on location. In a studio however, these are very reliable.
