I purchased this product to be used with my speedlite 580 ex ii. The speedlite is too big to fit perfectly into the ring. In addition, whe you install the litedome, there are four wires that you must bend to insert into the holes and I am afraid that someday that wire will break or crack....

Backet hardware a disappointment
The stand is a good compromise between weight and durability. The softbox is easy to set up and solid feeling, though the casting of the ring is a bit rough. The bracket that holds the box to the flash and stand is complete junk.
Great accessory for the serious photographer
This is an extremely portable unit that is easily transported to location. The soft box works well with my Canon 430 EX flash operating as a slave. The connector and mount are professional quality. The stand itself is adequate, somewhat light weight. This rating would be 5 stars if it weren't for the mediocre stand. Nonetheless, I consider this a good value for the price.
