Not Working for Me
I installed this on a Windows 2000 server. However, when backing up data onto firewire resources I continue to get many read-write errors. After allot of research and configuration,ruling out other problems,I am left to believe that it is a problem with this card....

Drivers and the Startech 3 port 1383b
I am using the card in one of my Windows 2003 servers and found the drivers difficult to install and somewhat out of date so I did some research and found newer drivers for the original manufacture that work fine but are not listed as supporting 2003 server.
I'd Return it if I Could
I purchased this to drive an M-Audio Firewire system. It worked for about a week, then went flakey. On reboots, it would look fine, but nothing plugged into it could be seen by their respective drivers. I must have rebooted the PC 20 times trying to figure out where the problem was. I reinstalled the driver at least 3 times, along with the drivers for the M-Audio device. The error I get on the M-Audio driver is #10, driver not started. Same happens when I attach a Sony Video camera--it can...
