Simple and Effective
I recently had to bypass my ethernet card to connect to a particularly fussy network, and the Belkin F5D5050 USB to Ethernet Adapter was exactly what I needed. Forget directions, this adapter is plug and play simplicity at its finest, and never gave me a minutes trouble. Works just fine with Vista. Couldn't be better....

SLOW with OS X
There are some third party drivers for this on the internet for OS X, but the results are SLOW, must slower than wireless. You can buy a USB to Ethernet converter from Apple that is FAST.

Good adaptor
earlier I had linksys usb ethernet adaptor, just like memory stick. After that I purchased this because design of the older adaptor was not good and it broke down. This is very good in design. and you can also attach this where there is very less space around the USB port.
