Adapter works fine, but I can imagine where things could go wrong I am using the adapter that just arrived today (... ordered elsewhere for personal reasons), and so far, it's working fine. I'll edit/delete the review if it breaks (or perhaps more seriously if it breaks my laptop) in a short time (let's say within 2 years), but I don't see that happening, as it appears to be running cooler than my original laptop power brick.

Now, as for the negative reviews, I can imagine where they may have gone wrong. First, on the DC side of the brick, it is possibl... –B. Parkfrom Amazon.com

DANGER- do not buy DO NOT PURCHASE. This is a terrible product. It is by far the worst experience with customer service I have ever had. This was wildly expensive and burned out after only a few months. When it "burned out" it sparked and began to melt, if I had not been there it could have

Does not work on any of my 4 laptops! Don't Buy. Although the product comes with heads that fit my four laptops, it just doesn't work, on any of them. Sometimes the adapter block itself doesn't work, but when it does, the product still won't charge my computers.
