04 May 2009Don't buy HitachiYes, I'm angry...with that said I will explain; the choice will be yours. Less than a year ago I purchased a 160Gig 7200rpm laptop drive. Two months ago it failed. Dead. A coaster for a drink. My assistant sent it in under an RMA but sent it in not the "proper" Hitachi way. Not only did they refuse it, they voided the warranty. It was dead when it got sent in and they refused it anyway. I admit to the error but it was DEAD!

27 Apr 2009Excellent driveJust replaced the drive in my Fujitsu Lifebook S7110 notebook with this drive and it's been working great! No sound at all. May get a little warm on top (near arm rest which is just above the drive), but I have not seen this to cause any issues. Partitioned it into two drives and used the Fujitsu CD to reload Vista in C-drive and everything is fine!–Avinash R. Shenoyfrom Amazon.com
25 Apr 2009Cool, fast and silent!Used this in a Fujitsu-Siemens computer and cloned the existing 120GB 5400 RPM Hard disk with this one. Difference was not mind blowing but quite noticeable.
Overall a very good drive and worth the money.–Zulfiqar Ali Naushadfrom Amazon.com
