Perfect upgrade for my macbook Pros: High capacity for form factor, fast, near-silent, runs cool.

Cons: None so far.

Bought it to replace the 160 gb 5400 RPM Fujitsu hard drive in my Macbook pro. I was afraid there would be a change in noise and heat, but so far noise is the same (virtually none) and it actually runs cooler. I didn't run any benchmarks but the system seems speedier. I don't know if battery life is affected.... –Dish Soapfrom Amazon.com

Turns to a brick after 2 months. Bought this drive and installed in in January. Turned to a brick yesterday. Complete drive failure suddenly and with out any warning or flakines leading up. –Stan Rohrerfrom Amazon.com
