Seems to Get the Job Done
My HP 17" media center notebook had been running extremely hot for several months. After I got a hard drive error when the computer came out of sleep mode I decided to buy this notebook cooler. It is quieter than the internal fan on my notebook and seems to get the job done. Before, you could make grill cheese sandwiches on the back of my notebook, now it seems to be running at normal temperature....

Works very well
I used it for my 15" MacBook Pro that would turn red-hot in about two hours. Operation is extremely quiet but since I always use my Mac on the desk- I do not know how well it fairs when using it on the lap. The first day I got this, I tested it by keeping the Mac running for several hours. Worked as expected. An excellent product for the price!
