very nice, quick and effective cooling my laptop I bought it for my 3 years old thinkpad T60. After 3 years using, the laptop becomes super hot. Temp of CPU can easily reach to 85 or 90 degree even higher when I watch video or open many applictions. I looked over many similar products and believe this is the best choice for my laptop. This didn't work for me. All these good reviews sold me on this product, and I bought it a few months ago for my new laptop.

My computer overheated twice with this cooler. At highest settings, when I put my hand over the fans, I couldn't tell if they were pushing air or pulling. I couldn't tell by putting my hand over the bottom, either.

Also, on the bottom the fans are placed toward the upper end of the cooler. On the top, the airholes are placed toward the middle and lower end of the cooler. So basi... –Sherri Schriverfrom Amazon.com

Slight flaw.. I use this with a dell XPS M1730 gaming laptop (17" screen). Obviously weight is not an issue for me as the laptop itself is nearly 20 pounds. I don't find the cooler to be uncomfortable or heavy. The issue I have is that my laptop fits perfectly on this cooler - If you look at the picture, notice that there are no holes on the top part of the cooler. It's about 4" I'd say. This means that although the fans are under this area, there is no airflow in this area, and therefore this section gets ve... –Jabbyfrom Amazon.com
