Accessible and stylish This is an accessible and stylish laptop for anyone looking for an everyday personal computer. It works very nicely, the design is perfect, and it is incredibly slim.
I personally liked the "Magic Gate" that reads the SD and other cards directly, so that you can transport pictures from your digital camera or other files quickly, without cables.
The system performance is OK - it's not super-fast, but works fine. Anyway, I guess one can't expect a 5 star performance on a laptop for this pr... –Juan Diego Soler Díazfrom Amazon.com

Be careful in upgrading memory Machine comes with 2 512mb memory sticks installed. My guess is that with Vista many owners will want to upgrade. If you do DON'T THROW THE OLD MEMORY AWAY. If you ever have to use the Sony supplied recovery disks they will not restore your system if you have anything but the original 2 512MB of memory. Got that one straight from the Sony support desk in Manila just a few minutes ago. –2ManyWordsfrom Amazon.com
