First impressions after a few hours Just got this thing yesterday, and let me share the first impressions before they fade...

Read the specs; I'm sure they are all correct.

I'm changing from XP to Vista. My old computer was 3+ years old, and of course had a lot of "junk" in the system, and I assumed that the new computer would speed things up a bit.

The start up time and shut down times are VERY LONG. Surprising. Longer than my old, cluttered computer. Kind of annoying, but this is Vista, perhaps that is i... –Krykiefrom Amazon.com
