Great Product...Linux runs smoothly
I've never really had all that much experience with Linux, but this thing makes it so easy, straight out of the box, that it's almost as easy to use as a Mac.

The ASUS Eee PC 900 is a great ultra-portable computer. Of course, since it is very small, it takes time to get used to the keyboard. It comes with a KDE Linux version that makes full use of the computer's features. However, it is impossible to customize it, which is a clear disadvantage if you want to have your own wallpaper, etc. Of course, you can always switch the OS to Windows XP SP2. Great for what it's intended for...surf internet and light document editing.
I got this to carry around with me in my purse. It's a great little machine. very easy to use. I really like this netbook. fits in my purse. turns on/off quickly...connects to internet quickly and has ok sound for the size. you do have to get used to the keyboard. I really don't use it much since i mostly surf. my brother has one just like it and he uses it to work on assignments while on travel....off a jump drive.
