35 feet Okay, 70 feet Nada I purchased this system so that my son's pc, 75 feet away from our Linksys WRT54G2 V1 WiFi router/switch could get better connectivity. My son, 14 years-old, did the set up by himself, it was easy. Unfortunatly no connection. I connected my laptop to one of the units. Going "mobile", I was able to get very good ethernet connections 5 feet away and 35 feet away from the router. BUT NO connection at 70 feet away.

Stable workhorse The product is a stable workhorse. Has been operating non-stop (2+ months at the time of writing this review) since purchase. Also, it does not get hot, does not make electrical noises, and provides a decent CAT5 cable. Even though the product works great, for the potential buyer, five tips:
1. Be aware that you need to have a convenient power-plug close to your computer/networking area available only for the extender. The device does not work if you have a distrubution box. Even if nothing i... –No-bailout TVfrom Amazon.com

Junk. Don't buy. Bought this product based on very favorable customer reviews. My experience was totally different. I couldn't get the product to work at all, even after spending much time on the phone with tech support. I'm very disappointed. –Mikefrom Amazon.com
