I have 8 USB ports on my desktop, but only 4 are on the back and the rest are recessed behind a sliding door on the front (not good for permanent connections). I'm also using another powered hub that is located further from the computer.
Good and compact.
Small, simple, reliable and works even without extra power supply. Fine product for under $10 that I paid.
Flexible, functional, perfect
I've had this item for a year. I've used it with a laptop and a desktop. I've used it with and without the included power cord.
