Works on my Mac Mini
The stand isn't worth even packing in the box, but the hub itself works just fine. I have an external hard disk, printer, keyboard, and mouse plugged in and there were no issues with any of them. Access to the hard disk shows no speed loss as opposed to being plugged directly into one of the mini's onboard USB ports.
necessary option
This unit works great. I like the flexability it gives with 7 more usb connections. With a wireless hook up using two of my usb connections, this was a real necessity. It works without any problem and I now have two of them, one for each of my Mac computers. Yes, the base is flimsey, but I don't knock things around when I am on the computer so this is no problem.
