Great Price for a Feature Packed NAS
For the price of this NAS, it doesn't get much better. I was looking for something that had network access (this does 10/100/1000), dual drives for redundancy (can do RAID 0-striped, or RAID 1-mirrored), and sufficient storage space for all my music, movies, and docs (2 7200rpm SATA drives... for my RAID 1, it gives me 450gb mirrored, or somewhere around there, after all the pre-loaded software that comes with it). Software flaky Support even flakier
This is one of the few companies that I am amazed even survives based on their support alone. Took 3 calls just to finally get someone to even try to troubleshoot. Then they tried one totally unrelated config mod(2 minutes of support). and said, sorry thats all they can do. SEARCH their own forums before buying, google, BBB (buffalo tech austin texas) USA listing.

Its ok, but slow
I brought this, and it works fine. But, do not bother to update your network to gigabit (I did!) because this product is not capable of working at gigabit speeds. Also, do not expect a performance increase switching from Raid 1 to Raid 0.
I called tech support twice. The first (unhelpful) person was surprised I expected it to work at gigabit speeds, and couldn't understand that I would expect a performance increase Raid 1->0 (he told me the statements like "The unit is a 2-drive NAS so...
