Good alternative to a server
I used mine as a raid1, with 2 1TB HD. So far so good. The only complaint I have is the fact that it is to slow to weak up from the save mode. It is a good alternative to a server, keeping all my files safe....

I am not a computer expert. Perhaps I have more knowledge than most, but basically a typical person.
D-Link NAS
I am new to Network Attached Storage, but I really like how this thing works. I tied it into my wirless router and I can see and use 2ea. - 1T drive with my wirelss laptop all the way across the house from the router. It was easy to setup and it has a network USB for my printer, to allow me to print from my laptop.
