Easy to install, but slower than wireless which defeats the whole purpose of purchasing this unit....

Delivers Just What It Promised
After checking user reviews on this product on a variety of sites, I felt the XE103G was a good candidate for my intended use - sharing an internet connection directly from the firewall router on the 3rd floor of our house between mine and my wife's computers. We have a 1.5 Meg DSL connection from Verizon which has been completely reliable over the last 4 years.
Not what I was hoping for.
I wanted to connect my Garage/office broadband internet to my wife's computer which was in the house, less than 100' away. The connection was slower than dial-up. I gave it to my brother to use with a LAN printer and it worked, but it is a printer not internet web pages or downloads.
