Linksys is a respected company and I have used their products before but I dont know why and how they managed to come up with such a aweful product.

This maybe an Issue that Costumers might have! THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE!! I bought this model at my local Walmart for $40. Install, easy enough. Two months after purchase, The ROUTER just suddenly had no connection to the internet on my computer! I did the cd install, to no avail. I then called Tech Support.
