Stay away from this unit if you want speed or security Pro: good WiFi range, configuration options galore.
Con: frequent reboots necessary, unreliable WiFi connections, disappointing speeds, VPN not well thought out.

I have used this product for about six months and have become aware of its severe shortcomings when I recently switched from DSL to cable. The WiFi range is good, but I have not been able to use it at any speed higher than 802.11b. Any attempt to use a higher speed would cause the speed to drop to a crawl, equivalent to that o... –J. WRV200 This product stinks. I bought it because it had SNMP capability and I wanted to do some network monitoring with it. It constantly disconnects from my DSL service. I had a Linksys WRT54G that never had a problem. I do not recommend this product. –Joseph W. Websterfrom Amazon.com
