Signficiant Performance Difference Over Cheaper Model Switches
This product supports link aggregation, CAT-5/6 or fiber using an optional plug-in module. I have a cheaper netgear switch, cost about 100 dollars. Operating under similar conditions I am getting a least a two fold increase in speed. Traffic shaping is also a nice feature using VoIP. Remember to get a usb to serial adapter, this can be helpful if you need to configure switch; most computers do not have serial adapters.
