07 Apr 2009 Great unit I installed this unit on a job and have been very happy with the function. I did not have my line tester with me so tested with my laptop just to see if I could connect. Later when I retested I found three lines that were crossed or otherwise incorrect but the switch fixed the errors and all were working anyway. One slight problem is that the fan is a bit loud. 15 May 2008 Performed as Promised This is a boring category - especially for a small business with only moderate networking requirements.

I needed a short depth form factor to fit into a rack mount system. This device fit.

I wanted 1 GBPS to maximize desktop to NAS backup. This unit delivered. I can max out the link using Norton Ghost to DLink NAS from my Dell desktop. There was no performance degradation from adding 100MB and 10MB devices to the switch (there isn't a lot of traffic on the network).
