I purchased the PAP2 in 2006 when I started with Vonage and its been rock solid ever since. I have a great broadband provider so that's probably a help but I have to say that its been extremely stable since installing it. I had some trouble in the beginning but I also live in a new development where construction was going strong and brown-outs were a common thing. Bottom line, I've had little to no trouble with this and the voice quality is superb!

Buyer Beware
Buyer beware. This equipment does not work properly. I bought a Linksys WAG160N so I could connect a new laptop by wireless. Needing a VoIP phone adapter to work with the modem I called Linksys to ask what I should do. They recommended a Linksys PAP2T adapter which I also bought. 1. The wireless internet connection fails frequently and constantly needs rebooting. I might just as well sit at the wired desktop. 2. The VoIP adapter normally does not work.
