D-Link Wireless Access Point The item would not work for me, even after spending a lot of time with a Tech. from the Company and my own ISP provider. It did light up, but that's about all.
The Seller would not accept it back claiming there is nothing wrong with it. I find this to be very poor customer service and will never buy from them again.

Very limited usage This product seems to function ONLY as a Wireless Access Point. That is to say, it can take your wired system to wireless. This can NOT act as a bridge, nor, I suspect a repeater. Caveat emptor! –Erilyxfrom Amazon.com

Complex configuration, works afterwards I have many D-LINK products (router, switches) and so went with this access point. D-Link products have been straightforward to configure and use, but not this one.

I did not want to change the addresses on the hardwired network at home so I hooked this access point up to a laptop directly, just a lan cable between the laptop and the access point, nothing else connected. You have to change the IP address of the laptop to do this. Google on another computer to see how to do this. Set the s... –Witsendfrom Amazon.com
