18 May 2009 Great speakers for the price I have had these speakers for over a month attached to a HP dv5t laptop, the sound is absolutely ridiculous compared to some old Boston Acoustics 2.1 speakers i had, the bass is incredible, crisp and booming. because i use it on a laptop the speakers are attached to a 2.1 soundcard only, but with matrix mode the sound becomes almost surround, there is slight distortion.
