Wouldn't work on multiple systems
Got one of these today and so far it hasn't worked at all. I've tried three (working) IDE drives and a laptop drive. The best success I've had is for the adapter to show up in Device Manager, but the drive never appears in My Computer. Of course, this is Vista's doing, I'm thinking, but I tried it in my WinXP PC with the same results. Apparently I got a defective unit but I won't be asking for a trade-in....
