USB printer cable
The product was not compatible with Vista, the seller took back the return and I paid shipping both ways. It would have been helpful if the seller had indicated that it did not work with Vista....

Worked like a charm
I have a new Vista machine with no printer port, and an old HP color inkjet. I bought this cable hoping that I could get around buying a new printer. I plugged in the printer with this cable, turned the printer on, and Vista automatically saw the printer and I was immediately able to print. HOWEVER, the print came out several times larger than usual. Guessing this was a Vista issue, I rebooted the CPU and tried printing again. Worked like a charm! Doesn't work on Vista
I bought this for my new laptop with no parallel port, which is running Windows Vista. Unfortunately, as of today (4/26/07) this cable only comes with drivers for Windows 98 and Windows XP, not Windows Vista. I tried installing the XP driver, but to no avail. Buy a different cable if you have Vista or or planning on upgrading to Vista.
