Excellent USB 2.0 Card
This card comes with a multi-page installation guide and a CD-ROM of drivers. However, no disk is required to install on a Win XP SP2 machine. Plug in the card, tighten it down, start the machine and XP finishes the job. It works fine in parallel with existing USB 1.0,1.1 ports on the motherboard. It delivers USB 2.0 speed with USB 2.0 devices.
It does the job, kinda
I have a Mac G4, and this card will work. However the first one I had was determined to be faulty (Belkin tech support surprised me by actually being helpful and knowledgeable), and I sent it back for a replacement. The second card works better, but I still have issues with it not always recognizing something plugged into it on startup.
Easy
This was very easy to install. Just pop it into appropriate slot, screw it in, and install the drivers. WOOT! Too much runs on USB these days and most machines do not have the space for all of your USB goodies. This solved my problems. It is hard wired in so no worries about conflicts between devices running at the same time. Do not be afraid of this card. Get it. You will have no problems.
