Poor performance and ultimately failure By the fact that I am wasting my time typing this, one should gather that this product is inferior and frustrating. I am returning this immediately. The time to recognize from plug-in is the longest in the industry sometimes minutes, which is insane if you have used LaCie drives.

I edit video and this lasted less than a month before failure, where the drive stopped being recognized by the mac. I have 100's of gigs worth of media that is now gone, because the RMA process just sends yo... –miseenscenefrom Amazon.com
