Not very good I bought this drive hoping for the best, there was one five star review, the picture looked good and the price was right. Well the drive works, however the enclosure is very cheap feeling and my unit had 2 loose screws inside! I don't think they held anything together as everything inside seemed secure, but obviously this says something for build quality! The case is 100% plastic, painted silver. In short it works, but I don't have much faith in the reliability. It seems awfully cheap, hopefully... –kilograhamfrom Amazon.com

Great product, reliable many uses My son and I have 10 of these SimpleDrives. They have worked flawlessly for over a year in a number of different ways. Primarily we use them to backup of files, extend the file capacity of our laptops. I formatted one fat32 and have put ghost images of my laptop on it for recovery. I did recover from a ghost image once and it worked. I also formatted one fat32 and put 200GB of photos in folders on it. I then connected it to my Kodak Eashshare Digital picture frame.
