Reliability is disappointing I have had mine for the past 6 months. My initial impression was that this was an excellent deal, since I planned to use it for maintaining source files which could be transferred to unix servers on it.
First the positive:
You get 7.45GB formatted with fat32
The USB2 transfer rates are good
Now the bad:
Data integrity is hit or miss. Sometimes when I fill the drive to about 90%, I get a LOT of corrupted files/sectors, and I end up loosing data. The drive is essentially unusable u... –Jonathan Hawesfrom Amazon.com
