Good Backup Disk Initialized easily for a Mac. Used software to make a backup disk. Disk very light and fast when using Firewire. The end cap makes this drive great for travel. The reliability of LaCie makes this a perfect backup drive.... –DJfrom Amazon.com

Great This LaCie hard drive is easy to setup, stylish, and can fit just about anywhere. I haven't had any connectivity problems, nor have I used the softward bundled on the drive--but I have connected the hard drive to Macs and PCs and it works perfectly. –Carlos Gomezfrom Amazon.com

Very convenient, impressive design, bad build quality I love how convenient this device is. It's small and you don't have to worry about forgetting a USB cable since its built in.

The cover could have been better designed as it is hard to pull off and can get lost since its a separate piece.

It has a simple design elegance, but it gets lost over time as the shiny plastic scratches very easily.

Also, this could just be the unit I received, but I had to send it back to Lacie (under warranty, and they don't pay for shipping back... –riceboyfrom Amazon.com
